First off this review is for a Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier(not multi-watt version). 150 watt Amp Head. I am running it into a Randall RA412XLTX 4x12" speaker cab. Playing my B.C. Rich Gunslinger. No effect pedals at first. I originally had the single rectifier but I wasn't very happy with the gain levels. I sold it and went through probably 8-9 different amp types, until I ended up purchasing the triple rectifier. The Triple Rectifier has got all the gain I need without having to use any pedals. I really, really love the variations from ch2 and ch3. It says in the manual that these channels were revamped and that they both different types of hi gain channels. So between the two channels and three modes for those channels. There are a ton of different tones. The clean channel is super smooth and lush, and if you use the pushed mode, you get a great blues tone. It handles effects pedals both in the loop, and out of the loop very well. Overall I am loving this amp!!! It is super heavy and punchy. Real tight low end and great clarity with hi gain. It's Solo function can act like a boost, and I can easily dial in any sound I'm after. And each one sounds Amazing!! Great amp especially when you get a great used one for a great price!!Read full review

I am a semi pro musician, playing for 36 years. I use only the tube amp for my tone and drives, with effects in the loop, and this amp absolutely shines! I'm using the 4 cable method with a GSP1101. What a great combination. Channel 1 is clean and deep, channel 2 is AC-DC pure and perfect, channel 3 is rock lead to metal with as much distortion as I ever needed. The solo button is crucial to my live playing, and I like that it's global. It's either on or off, even as you switch channels. The JVM Master 2 remembers its setting, and when you switch channels you might get an unpleasant surprise if you didn't turn off master 2 before switching. Not so with the TC-50. I've had a love/hate relationship with Boogies, because I never found one with enough drive yet a good clean channel. Or if it had that, the effects loop was subpar. This has it all! I'm selling my JVM210H and cabinets now, bought a Mesa cab for this one.Read full review

The amp is like brand new. All I had to do was change out the standby switch and it works perfect. Tone is great, not like that British buzz saw tone of a Marshall. Mesa is the best amp.

Got this at a great price and out of the box it was perfect. I downloaded the manual and followed the settings as described. This amp sang clean had crunch channel and a lead fluid sound I have been wanting to have in my band. Oh yeah three switches for channel to go from 50w to 150w, from Diode to tube selection. Just AWESOME!

awesome amp !!! nothing better than this !!! from country clean, to rock crunch, to metal mayhem. you will not find a better amp. if you think you can't use 150 watts of tube power, you're wrong. the output control lets you dial up the thick power of a 150w tube power amp while keeping sound levels as low as you want. this is THE ultimate guitar amp.
