The innovative design of the Ping G25 iron set with Ping CFS steel shafts can appeal to golfers regardless of handicap. Ping G25 irons have a sleek appearance compared to traditional Ping designs. The sole and the top line are thinner than the G20 line. This is a cast cavity back design, but it offers some of the desirable characteristics normally associated with classic forged irons. A complete set includes the 3-9 and four wedges. Since many players supplement these irons with G25 hybrids, most sets begin with a five, six, or seven iron. Sets typically include one or more of the four available wedges: pitching wedge, gap wedge, sand wedge, and lob wedge. This set features Ping steel shafts, although sets are available with graphite as well. Taller golfers may want to look for sets with shafts 1 inch longer than normal. Choose the best shaft flex for your game: regular, stiff or extra stiff.
