    Shadow Song - A good read !!

    A week or so ago, I saw a Hallmark Hall of Fame Presentation of 'The Valley of Light' on TV. I was interested enough in the story that I googled the book and author and ultimately bought a copy of the Valley of Light on Half.com. I finished it and was inspired to look for other books written by Terry Kay. In Shadow Song, I picked a real winner...the story is told in flashback to the Catskills in the summer of 1955..imagine 'Dirty Dancing' with better defined characters..the plot is even similar in that it involves two lovers that are obviously doomed because they come from different backgrounds. The set-up for them to meet again after 38 years is well done and actually has a sort of 'real feel' to it. This book is a love story that allows you to flow along with the plot instead of hitting ...

    Shadow Song by Terry Kay

    I have not read the book yet. I bought it by mistake and realized what i had done later. Since that purchase , i also bought "To Dance With a White Dog" written by the same author and was the book i thought i was purchasing the first time. Afterwards i was glad i had purchased both , as i have heard very good reviews about "Shadow Song" as well. I saw the movie version of To Dance With A White Dog amny years ago, fell in love with the story and wanted to read the book as well. I recently bought a copy of the movie also on Ebay and now am enjoying it all over again. If you want more of a review, please email me again. Deb
