    Explorer wheel bearing

    I bought Detroit Axle brand wheel bearings for my 01 f150 earlier this year on a gamble do to mixed reviews I found online. Let me just say I'm a mechanic do-it-yourselfer and work as a mechanic for many years before I finished my college degree. I bought these bearings for my truck because they were cheap in cost and they have a good warranty. I figured if anything was going to go wrong it would during the warranty period. Well I'm completely sold on this brands product! Those bearings are doing so well that when my mom's explorer had a wheel bearing go out I know where to get a cheap cost with good quality bearing!! This bearing is holding great and is nice and quite!!

    TERRIBLE!

    Started wobbling and making noise the same day. Was installed to spec, and torgue wrenched properly with the hub nut and this now has to be replaced by shipping it back, and getting another one. I hope the manufacturer reads this, and offers to ship me a new one.
