Another great book by Bob Carter. There are alot of great Recipes in this cookbook. I dont like this cookbook as much as his food festivals of Texas cookbook but that one is almost impossible to top. This cookbook has alot of the foo foo stuff I dont eat but it still has alot of great recipes you wont find anywhere else. I have made a few meals out of this book that my family adores. There is one recipe in this book that was actually submitted by the author called MOM'S CALIFORNIA TAMALE PIE. My daughter made it and the family went crazy for it. That recipe alone made the book worth buying.
