Plenty of cotton on the tips, but the most important thing is that these swabs are sturdy. Yes, occasionally one will break if you apply too much pressure. But that's about 1 out of 10. With other swabs that I tried the break ratio was probably 50%. So, I highly recommend these wood stick cotton swabs.

Works great for me.
Ok. For me it as much of an ear scratcher as it is an ear cleaner. The paper sticks keep bending. These don't bend but be careful they will break. However it takes a good bit of pressure to break it. It usually starts hurting before it reaches breaking point. If you use them like I do just be careful and think about what you doing. I prefer them over the paper sticks.

Great Deal But lacking quality
The Deal is a steal but at the expense of lower quality. I mean they do the job however there super small. I have large hands and used to the "standard" q-tip size. These are to thin and have smaller amounts of cotton on the tips. Wish I just paid more for better quality product.

Great quality Q-tips. The wooden sticks make these excellent for projects and other things besides you're ears. A world of difference compared to cheap flexible plastic sticks. Also, yes they are better than traditional Q-tips if you do use them for your ears as well.
