I bought this for my son, who recently ended a 7 year relationship (not his choice!!) because I absolutely LOVE Dr. Phil, and find that his books are written in a plain english, common sense way that EVERYONE can easily understand. I have several other books of his and found them to give me new insight into my own life and what I was looking for, so I thought this might help my son resurrect his relationship, since she keeps telling him that he "still has a chance", and if not, it would help him in his next one. I read a good portion of the book before (reluctantly) giving it to him. He says he is getting alot out of it, and is easily determining where he went wrong. Thank You Dr. Phil!!!!!!!!!!!

If you read only one Dr. Phil book I suggest this one. In this book Dr. Phil lays out in easy to understand text the reason we do and don't do what is necessary to have complete and happy lives. You will find the answer to many of life's challenges here including self esteem issues, weight control, and other nagging problems. I can't sum it up better than to say it's a must read.

Simply put, Dr. Phil states and provides guidance that this is your choice. You can do something about it but you must act. The book has his 10 Life Choices that each must examine.
