I love this yoga workout because it is relaxing and you get a great stretch throughout the entire body while building strength. I am a fairly fit person so I find I have to balance this with pilates, cardio, and strength training. But some days you just don't feel like a difficult workout and I love this yoga workout for those days. I find it especially helpful to work through back and leg pain a few hours before bedtime. The instructor is likable and easy to follow and I enjoy the relaxation and breathing techniques throughout. I definitely feel stretched and strengthened after this workout. I'd highly recommend this for your lighter workout days!
I started using Zen Mama 2 weeks ago and I loved that is was relaxing and not to hard to do. I didn't dislike much of anything other than the quality was good but excellent would have been better. I believe a good idea would to make more levels of them cause doing the same thing over and over again is kind of boring and Rainbeau Mars is a good teacher/instructor so I prefer her then jumping around to different Prenatal DVDs. Its good and fun and beneficial during your pregnancy. I recommended to anyone who's expecting and need a relaxing 30 minute outlet.
Bought this DVD and began using it in my first trimester. Very relaxing and actually enjoy working out, even though it really does not even feel like I am working out. It is very easy to adapt to whatever stage of pregnancy you are in. My favorite is to do the about 45 min workout and then I am so relaxed and feel so good I take a really good nap.
I was looking for an easy to follow DVD on Prenatal Yoga. This video is good, easy to follow, although a little fast. I would prefer to have longer stretches, but overall I can't complain. I wish I had bought it closer to the beginning of my pregnancy.
I really enjoy doing this yoga workout. Throughout the entire routine, they have people in different trimesters showing how to properly and safely do poses. After doing the workout, I definitely felt that I toned many muscles, released stress and tension, and was more connected w/ my baby. If you enjoy yoga, you will enjoy this workout. Highly recommend for all trimesters of pregnancy.
