This product is mostly peppermint oil - which you can buy in the spice aisle at the grocery store for a fraction of the cost. My husband has IBS and he takes this on a regular basis, but he continues to have a lot of bathroom issues. I really don't think it is helping him. I think if he took a daily probiotic (which has "good bacteria") he would have better results, but who listens to their wives, lol. Maybe this product helps some people; that's great if it does! All it seems to be doing for him is draining the wallet... Thanks.

It's the best OTC medication I have ever taken for any condition. It's an amazing medicine. It controls my IBS 99% of the time. When it doesn't, it is usually because I have spent a day eating incorrectly. I'm not housebound anymore. Just do not understand why like all medications, the pharmaceutical companies have to sell their medicines so high. Ebay certainly helps to make IBGard affordable.

If this stuff wasn’t so insanely expensive, I would give it 5 stars. It is hands-down the best OTC medication for IBS I’ve tried. It works great! It doesn’t fix all the symptoms, but it most definitely helps. A proper diet combined with this medication will do wonders. But it’s literally just peppermint in a capsule, so I don’t understand why it’s so expensive. That’s really my only issue. I hope they make a prescription version so my insurance can cover it!
