Before I started using Fresh Cab I had mice in the wiring of my Prius, They got in the headliner and ate the insulation off the wires to the extent that my dealer said the car was unsafe to drive. They thought the wires could short and deploy the airbags unexpectedly. My car was in the shop for almost a month and the cost was about $5000. My insurance covered most of it. My only negative (mildly negative) is the odor when you first install them. They smell a lot like a Christmas tree. On a warm day it can be pretty intense.

We have a small, 19-foot-long Tiger RV that has about 80 square feet of floor space. We've had problems with mice coming in from under our rig around the vent pipe (we think). My husband put one package in that problem area. We then went on a 5-week camping trip. After a few days, I thought I heard scratching and subtle sounds behind our closets and lower drawers. Then we found a hole chewed through a forgotten Zip-loc bag of cinnamon candies under the driver's seat, mouse turds in the lowest drawer that holds our pots and turds inside two cups in that drawer. I set up 3 snap-type mouse traps in that drawer. Within an hour, I had my first mouse! Over the course of the 5-week trip, with the packet of Fresh Cab Rodent repellent in place, I caught a total of 12 mice. In one case, I caught 4 of them one after another! We came home for 5 days. While the RV was in our driveway, I caught another mouse! Then went on another trip of 3 weeks.. My husband put a second packet of Fresh Cab in the area of mouse activity. I caught 4 mice inside the drawer holding the pots with the snap traps. The only positive comment I can make about Fresh Cab is that the scent it emits is very pleasant to the human nose. If you decide to try it (and especially if you are going to try it on an RV'ing trip), keep several snap traps handy and bait them with peanut butter.Read full review

Every year as winter approaches the little brown & white field mice that have been content living outside all summer begin invading our house. As much as I would like to be able to repel mice from the house by using this botanical product rather than resorting to poison and traps I say honestly that this is not the answer. At first we were hopeful as the odor this puts out is supposed to repel mice, and it certainly was a strong odor. However, the smell goes away relatively quickly, and if the goal is to put it somewhere back out of the way it defeats the purpose to have to shake the bag once or twice a day to make the smell stronger. I have bought at least 5 boxes of this at about $13.50 each and I would have spent my money better had I bought traps. The instructions for using this product warn about being careful not to let any packets that have lost their odor sit very long, as ravenous mice with eat the material inside the packets. Our mice will begin eating this stuff when it has sat for only a couple weeks. Too bad there's not poison inside, so that if/when they eat it hey will die. At least it would be good for something beyond good intentions.Read full review

It makes your garage smell like wonderful smelling potpourri, but does nothing to chase away mice, at least from my experience. I think the mice get used to it, just like those useless ultrasonic nose generators. What I ended up doing is buying glue traps, which are effective, and then putting the little caught mice out of their misery with an overdose of automotive starting fluid. (That's basically just ether, the same stuff that dentists use to give you to put people to sleep during dental procedures in the old days.)

Let me start by saying yes! I have used this for a few years now and believe it or not it really works. We keep our apartment clean clutter free but when the seasons change we get a visit or two from the fuzzy ones. And without having to lay traps I just buy the 4 pack and put 1 in each bedroom, kitchen and living room and we stay fuzzy free. I buy another for in a couple months around the time the seasons change and we are good to go and fuzzy free.
