Honestly, it's a pretty lonely and sad movie with funny dialogue that only the Apatow crew can assemble. Having fairly the same cast throughout all his movies including Knocked Up and 40 Year Old Virgin, they really do perform magically on screen as if they really aren't acting but living it. So to the point, a sequence of events occur where the main character (Peter) gets dumped by his now ex-girlfriend Sarah. Having nothing to do besides picking up his heart off the floor he takes a trip to Hawaii where ironic as it may seem - Sarah is staying with her new boyfriend; a sexually active hardcore singer/rock and roller who loves groupies! Being alone on the island, Peter finds comfort in the receptionist played by Mila Kunis (gorgeous in the movie!) and eventually forms a bond with her just as Sarah and her boyfriend start having troubles. Sarah then realizes what she lost in Peter when her boyfriend leaves her on the island. Not taking Sarah back, but losing Mila in the process through a 10 second sexual encounter with Sarah send Peter packing back to California. He begins to write his Dracula play, invites Mila after a few months and they reunite at the end with another nude scene by Peter as in the beginning! Overall funny but fairly long to watch a second time around. Enjoy!Read full review
This romantic comedy provides quite a few laughs and laughable situations, and the acting by the main characters is quite good. Some zany characters with minor roles (Damon the bartender and Kemo) add to the fun. Russell Brand's performance as British hip rocker Aldous Snow enlivens the fun and almost steals the show. The movie lacked something that I can't quite pinpoint, so 3 stars is the best I can give for this one. Most viewers will enjoy this one.
A poorly written script that focuses on jealosy and rebounds in Hawaii. The stand out is the British rock star but gets annoying by the movie's end. Comedic talents are at a shortage with this cast so there are a few cameos added containing fan-favorites Bill Hader, Jonah Hill, and Paul Rudd. The lead actor is painfully bland when he speaks, so a couple of full frontal nudity scenes by him are thrown in to shake it up. The pleasant Hawaiian landscape and two beautiful actresses should keep the majority of audiences watching though. Most recommended for folks who enjoy the blending of juvenile humor with adult sex scenes.
A 10 year old classic comedy, great story with excellent acting. You will never stop laughing at Jason Segal and Mila Kunas, the characters were witty and very fun to watch!

I expected a funny comedy with multitudes of scantily clad young women prancing around on the beach. It was disappointing because nudity is restricted to the main character, a man who looks like a narcotized Judge Reinhold. The story takes us through his attempt to forget about the girl friend who just ditched him, Sarah Marshall, by taking a Hawaiian vacation. It has its moments but also its longueurs. People sit around and talk a good deal, sometimes to no point. If you want a memorable movie along the same lines, try "There's Something About Mary."
