I bought this as a Christmas gift who has only seen season one. I hope he enjoys the continuing saga. I received this DVD in short order and it was as described. I was very pleased to have it in plenty of time to "remail".

The second season is the best in the series I believe there is 5 seasons all good. If you like westerns this season is for you in your friends to had to a watch list of future purchase.

I bought this season because I had seen the first season and wanted to follow it to completion. No negatives. It seems to follow somewhat the historical building of the transcontinental railroad. It also seemed to depict the fictional characters fairly accurately. No sweet coating of the good guy bad guy persona usually shown in western films. Good series. Good story line.
A show about the making of the railroad to go out west to California. A great western that also tries to be Historically correct. I recommend this show if you like westerns and follow the series. This is seson two I am reviewing and to watch this season; it would be adiviseable to watch season one first to keep up with the storyline.
