I bought the book for the powerful words it has on both sides of the jacket. On front it asks why we are so infrequently the people that we are? This takes the pressure off from trying so hard to change into something rather than just grow into what we are created to be. I like that positive approach. On the back cover it says that we are often limping through life because, we are just living in the neighborhood of our self rather with the Self itself. It is an invitation to 'go home" finally rather than just driving around the peripheral routes of our lives. It is sad that a majority of people on this planet are just limping through life because they are sleepwalking. This book invites the reader to wake up and dance.
Once again Oriah Mountain Dreamer writes clearly, simply and to the point in a way that can be life changing. "Why do I so infrequently want to be the person I really am?" is the question this book centers around. Locating the answer within can alter how one views his/her life. Easy to read. Hard to put down.
