As good as it gets for this range of interface. Durable, great sounding and chock full of features.

I bought this product recently, but I can say few things. First: For those who want solid build item, this is not the case. It has not very quality buttons, switches and its lack of volume in headphones. It is hybrid build (plastic and some metal). Definitely not recommended, because of the above facts, BUT it does a good job with sound. It is very clean, clear and you can hear good details in music you are listening and producing - this is a very good point to start if the external aspects are not that important for you. This is a good interface to start, but definitely not the one for the long run, if you have plans on growing. I will buy something new after some time and after return the money for it (i will keep it, but not for long).

Very pleased with this unit, works exactly as advertised. Features are solid, and I'm especially enjoying the ability to use it as an audio output device for my computer (not just input). The unit is also very sturdy, with a hard metal/aluminum case, and feels like it could definitely survive the normal wear & tear that most musical gear is exposed to. Additionally, I'm a Linux/Ubuntu user, and this device was picked up immediately when I plugged it in, and I was quickly recording using Audacity. As a hobbyist musician, this suits my own needs very well, and I'm glad I finally made the leap to a USB interface, after years of recording via low-quality, consumer-grade mic/amp. I wasn't exactly certain what to expect, but it's turned out to be very easy to use, and I would not hesitate to recommend this to other musicians like myself.Read full review

Very impressive. Preamps are clean and much more open than expected for this price. Unit has decent converters, both ways. Using it for testing various recording software and the occasional small project. Also using as the digital to analog converter for my monitors. Setup was easy, was recording and mixing through it in minutes. Good product. Very satisfied. I would give it 5 stars, except that I know what truly pristine preamps sound like. For the average project studio, these are perfectly fine.
I had been looking at the 2i2 on Amazon, but happened to find a similarly priced, refurbished 2i4 on eBay through Digital DJ Gear. They responded to a question quickly and politely, even though, had I read more carefully, I would've seen the answer in the ad. The product itself is refurbished, but looks new, works like new, and came with new software codes for Ableton Live 9 Lite; a Scarlett compressor, EQ, etc; and a Novation Bass Station soft-synth; and some others that I still haven't even gotten to. Of course, there are better audio interfaces and better DAWs on the market-- but not even close to this price. Great product, great seller. 10/10 would buy again.
