To me, this is the best mobile interface. Its easy to use. Built very durable. Unisom Plugins are really great. If you are thinking about buying this or looking for a new interface, I would really suggest you to give it a try. Don't worry about the price because this is worth every dollar.

I purchased this four channel mic preamp to replace a dying Focusrite ISA428. Considering this comes with the 8 channel A/D card, dynamics (compressor and limiter), and has tube / solid state tone blending knob, it's an outstanding value. It has all these features for a lower price than the ISA-428 when you factor in the cost of the A/D card. I can't speak to it's durability over time because I've only had it a couple weeks. My first impression of the sound quality was a little disappointing. I was used to the clear and punchy sound of my Rupert Neve designed Focusrite preamps, my API 1324+, and my Millennia HV-3D. Then I tried something I should have done from the start, turn the dial to the left for a pure transistor sound. Viola! Top end clarity and transparency. Basically, the tube side of it is a little soft and squishy sounding, as one should expect tubes to be. I should have known better. It's been a long time since I used a tube mic preamp. That tube character could be a good thing when used for effect when recording a particularly strident or piercing vocal, or if you're looking for a vintage character. You can even drive it really hard and get full fledged distortion. Each channel has an input gain and an output gain so you can control how hard you hit the tube and still have control of output levels. Another minor issue with the tubes is, unlike solid state gear, you need to remember to turn it off when not in use to prolong the life of the tubes. If this is your studio's master clock, you'll have to remember to switch your clock source every time you turn it on or off. Pros: Excellent value, excellent sound, built in dynamics, built in limiter on 8 channels, versatility in tone, built in 8ch. A/D converters, optical and AES outputs Cons: Tubes can sound soft and squishy, dynamics have very limited controls, In the end I have to say I'm very happy with the sound quality now that I have a better understanding of it's design. I would highly recommend this unit. Read full review

I purchased it as an audio interface for my MacBook Pro. To top it off it comes with internal DSP chips to run virtual instruments inside a DAW that are best in their class. Highly recommended for desktop, home or mobile studio sound rig.
