It's a really great guitar! I ended changing the tuners on it because the ones I had on it were getting worn out and hard to keep it in tune, now I have Grover tuners and it sounds amazing. I love Hetfield design on it, but I dislike how it has a rosewood fret board, I would prefer Ebony. It also is kind of a heavier guitar compared to the others I have played, but the mahogany has an excellent tone to it. I would recommened this to anyone who loves to play Heavy Metal because your fingers glide like a pro on this neck style.
I guess you would call this the beater. One of those guitars you can take to the gig and not worry about nicking or dinging it up. Essentially it’s like a broken-in Les Paul,it definitely delivers the goods. It has a nice beefy tone thanks to the active emg pick ups. If it’s good enough for James it’s good enough for me.
