Ibanez has always had a very playable guitar, and through the years Ibanez has continued to define and re-define what a modern guitar should be. This is one of the main reasons why I have continued to be an Ibanez player. Each new generation of Ibanez guitars really is a giant leap forward in playability and innovation. Right out of the gate, the RG1570 is an amazing guitar with probably the best tremolo out there. The new Ibanez Prestige neck has gone away with the drilling the locking nut through the weakest part of the neck, thus seems to have fixed the one inherent flaw with Ibanez’s (the weak neck at the locking nut). The only fault that I have with this guitar is with the V7, S1, V8 pickups (though easily changed out). This fault is easy to overlook because most guitar players will probably upgrade to their favorite pickups in due time. • Basswood body • 3-piece maple Wizard Prestige neck • 24 jumbo frets • Rosewood fingerboard • IBZ V7 humbucking neck pickup • IBZ S1 single-coil mid pickup • IBZ V8 humbucking bridge pickup • Pearl dot inlay • Black hardware • Color-changing mirage finishesRead full review
Ibanez Prestige RG's are beautifully crafted guitars that are made in Japan. Well worth the price when you compare any guitar in its price bracket. Ibanez are known for the fast necks. And the pick ups on this thing stock are already tried and true proven. I have owned Gibsons, Fenders, Deans, and ESP's and if I had to choose one guitar manufacturer I would choose Ibanez. Reason being is you can not beat the quality of the guitar for the price, and the playability of their guitars are outstanding!
What can I say it's a great guitar. I just wanted to see what they were selling for these days. They hold their value that's for sure. You wont find this kind of quality in a new guitar for the price.
