Yamaha gave up the ghost
The price for this amp was less than half of a new Yamaha. It's 500 watts per channel @ 8ohms. I've had it for about a month and no problems yet. The blue tooth works good and connects easily and sounds good I notice no degradation in sound. I use it at least 3 times a week for Karaoke and DJ. So far no complaints and it handles the power well. You can play music right from the USB port also. I'm sure this board is a good one. I would LOVE TO PUT MY HANDS ON ANOTHER ONE, but eb -/ay, ....Pay ;-( pow, micro📞-usa screwed me and our band, so we have wait until SOMEBODY will take our money, and actually send us one!! I've ran one (this same model) before, and it really was an easy board to run. The Bluetooth and programed vocal effects set this board high on the list of 16 channel boards currently available for sale. Get one. I know I will find one out there, but most online sellers of this are just 3rd, 4th, 5th or more in the supply chain, so it's just hard to come by these days. Too bad. Great board, but only gets 3🌠s. Highly Recommend, great mixer for the price.
This is the second BM-55 I have bought. They have corrected many issues since the first. The overall sound and EQ is good with everything set flat. Very clean and powerful, 500 Watts / channel @ 8 Ohms! The effects sound great too. The Bluetooth receiver connects quickly with no issues with my laptop. reliably comes on in high humidity outdoors. Headphone out is a nice feature and can be used as an auxiliary send. This is the second BM-55 I have bought. They have corrected many issues since the first.
