These are the best sounding speakers I've heard for live performances. I'm using them for live jams and rehearsals with my jazz quintet and will be using them for recording monitors. They have more than enough power for my small room jams. I'm using them without subs and putting piano-keyboard and guitar through them (the drums aren't mic-ed). I intend to put bass through them as well if needed, however this may require active subs. I'd recommend these speakers highly though.

I play drums, E drums now!! This new EV 15 inch. Plenty of low end punch. great Middle and hi,s. Bluetooth is a great feature. The speaker sounds amazing. Oh It has plenty of settings for the DSP,, bass and treble settings. Awesome speaker for the money. Definitely would recommend.

Overall a decent, good sounding speaker. Little low on wattage but couldn't afford the jump up to the higher rated speakers! Only used it for one live performance so far. Decent bang for the buck!
