This is a great guitar. I also have an RGEW521, and this plays every bit as good. The only real difference is that the fret ends look about 95% as good as the RGEW, but still are not at all sharp, and very playable. The quantum pickups seem to be decent enough for most things, but definitely do not pick up the dynamics like the DiMarzios do. The quantums can sound a little muddy when you really get the gain up there. Other than that it stays in tune, the neck feels great, no fretting out/high or rough fret issues. Just a really solid guitar. Also it is worth noting that the various pictures of the fade finish on these do not do them justice. In photos the fade transitions look really abrupt due to all the metallic flake lighting up from the camera flash/lighting. In real life, at least the one I have, looks very smooth. Read full review
