Not the whiny, shrill stuff, this is "Country Girl" music, the woman who has not quite accepted that her age may have moved her out of the age she feels she belongs in, so she is vocal about how things just didn't go her way without taking any responsibility for the result. Listen to Just Another Girl and you'll hear it, and you'll be able to make the connections to the way a lot of women feel (and to be truthful, a lot of men, too) when things just don't wind up the way they wanted-- but they never fought for those things, just griped when they didn't get them. Great music, just a shade of a downer theme.

I don't know what happened to this singer..but this cd is ACES. Wonderful songs you can feel in your heart, and others that make your feet tap of their own accord. Songs that you'll play over and over..BUY THIS CD!
This is a great album. It's one of those cd's that you could listen to 5 times in a row and still love it every time. Great song writing and she has such a beautiful voice. highly reccomended.
if you like country love songs Carolyn Dawn Johnson does it as good as anyone ever has on this CD, I can't take it out of my CD player. She hit a home run with this one in my oppinion.
