I purchased this turntable to give as a gift to someone. I pulled it apart and cleaned everything just because of the age of the turntable. This isn't a bad turntable it just isn't a good one. Will work great for someone just starting out but really it's just lightweight plastic and just one step up from the bottom tier. It does have the option of changing out the cartridge and has the ability to vary the tracking force. As inexpensive as these tables are it's definitely a good place to start. If it wasn't for the cheap lightweight build I would probably think a little higher of it. Other than that it doesn't sound bad when setup correctly. If you're looking for a starter table this would be a good inexpensive table to start with and familiarize yourself with. Having the ability to swap cartridges is a big plus.Read full review

Wrong turn table cover sent. Resolution was unsatisfactory. I lost money on this purchase because I had to pay return postage. I do not recommend.

This version not the black plastic remains one of pioneers best offerings of the golden era, late 70βs. Also in this automated lineup is the pl-610 and pl-630 which when kept up on maintenance are very musical and pleasurable to own. Recommend an Empire 2000 e/iii cart and you be in audio heaven!
