I've lived these songs and some. Some tunes make you think of the good, the bad, and the downright crazy times. This CD pretty much covers it all. Change was good for me and this CD helped. This is my second copy.

I've heard his songs on the radio, but didn't really pay attention to who was singing them. Then I saw him do a concert on Directv's 101 channel and fell in love with the music! So I immediately when online in search of his music. This is his first CD and I do believe it is the BEST of the two he has out. His story is pretty unique too. If you love country music, this is definately a CD you need to have in your collection!
This debut album of Jake Owen's is totally awesome!! The original release of "Eight Second Ride" is great, and the title track, "Startin' With Me" was well worth purchase price!! I highly recommend this CD to any country music fan, you will for sure become a devoted Jake Owen fan after giving this CD a listen!
