I, personally am not a fan of Taylor Swift or her music, it was a Christmas gift for my daughter, as she is 4 1/2 years old I had no idea she even knew who Taylor Swift was. My wife insisted that my daughter did like her, so first thing I did was check Ebay for it. It turned out though that I only saved about $1 from going through Ebay as opposed to a retail store but at least I didn't have to wait in line during the Christmas rush. Needless to say, I bought it and it came before Christmas, and my daughter loved it. Unfortunately, for me that meant I had to listen to it in the car for going on 3 weeks now, and to be honest... it's not bad, just not my cup of tea. It had the particular songs she liked, and my wife is becoming a fan now too... so far, i haven't given in.
It's incredible how quickly Taylor crossed over and became not only a big country star, but a huge pop star also. It took only her second single - Teardrops On My Guitar - for her to become amazingly popular in mainstream music! Then she continued to release 3 more hits (two of them #1) off her debut album. Talk about a hard act to follow - but I can't see this trend stopping anytime soon with Fearless - this album is a MAJOR HOME RUN! You can't please everyone, but look for her to just become even bigger and more popular, with more #1's and crossover pop smash hits. Taylor's sophomore CD is very well done...filled with excellent, self-penned, radio-friendly top 40 hits! This CD will be a BLESSING to any Country/Pop collection. VERY WELL DONE TAYLOR!! I love the youth that shows though in Swifts voice, and the fact that she writes most of her songs. The cd is excellent in sound, and I would truly recommend the Cd to everyone. I decided to buy this cd for my granddaugher because of Swifts ability to communicate to the youth and the influence that she plays on todays young ladies. Very Good Cd.
I love it. I wanted to buy this US version for a really low price and i found it! I guess it's some special edition since it included a Taylor Nation poster?? Anyways, I loved it!
