A nice looking kit imo, however, make sure you cut the missiles shorter by removing ca 5mm, as the missiles aren't shaped properly, as can be seen by comparing with photos. An easy fix if you are a little careful. I do not know to what degree this kit is historically accurate, with regard to other details. One more thing, the launcher part has some rather stiff rubber parts (rubber hoses), that can be a little tricky to add, some special care and patience is required. It is a good idea to try find replacement parts for the two large rubber parts, but with thinner walls for an easier build. As always, best results when working with an airbrush. I made one mistake in adding too much matte varnish on some parts, making some minor area a little white'ish. :| Hrm, somehow I have managed to smudge my camera lens.Read full review

Everything fits well enough, there is some light sanding needed for the missiles when put together but other then that it all went together very well. The good thing with this particular model is that so many nations have them so you can paint many different camo schemes and use this for any diorama from the Vietnam era on up because its still in use today and is still a very extremely dangerous anti- aircraft system. This kit deserves 5 stars all the way ,just be careful on a few of the pieces as they are difficult to remove from the sprue without breaking.I always use liquid testor's cement and if it is a small mfragile part i have to remove from a sprue ,i give it a coat of cement to soften it up and become flexible and not break and it works ,it will not deform the part either. Happy modeling.Read full review

Has PE, vinyl tubing and metal cable. In order to make the missile system movable you must not glue specific parts, which the instructions do not indicate. Also, the hand rails have two positions, travel-lock and launch, they don't snap into place but if you glue them then you're stuck with that position. Tracks are 'link-n-length' plastic. Decals are for Cold War era Soviet Union, East Germany, Czechoslovakia and Poland, yet the painting and marking guide leaves out the Soviet Union version. Looks like it'll be an impressive looking thing once you get it built.
