This Bible Commentary set will give you a deeper understanding of the bible. MacArthur's NT series offers details that are relevant to the time period, or situation, or wording differences between languages to give a more robust knowledge in your study. I have found this set to be extremely helpful in my own studies. I have other sets that I use in my studies, and they offer good information as well, but sometimes not as in depth. I would recommend this set for those that are new in christ through those that are knowledgeable in the word. It offers insight that is relevant to the word. No matter what your background, you will find this set helpful and enlightening. If you are in the market for a commentary set or even a study guide to help with your bible study or small group, you will find this set to be beneficial. This set has only one draw back, the books are a little more expensive than their paperback competitors; however, with proper care, they will last a life time!Read full review
