This is my favorite Elvis LP. The songs are a mix of pop, gospel, blues and jazz flavored funk. The mastering on the DCC gold cd has to be heard to be believed. No digititis here. It is very analog like. On some of the Steve Hoffman mastered DCC gold discs I can't hear a huge difference between the remastered version and the regular redbook release. But here the difference is obvious and wonderful. It is the equal of the great job Hoffman did on the Door's "LA Woman" cd. I have heard this work on the original lp released about 1960, and the redbook cd release. I bought the DCC vinyl version when it was released in the late 90's and just recently picked up the DCC gold cd in an eBay auction. I am ecstatic over the sound of the DCC gold cd version of this splendid Elvis work.
Nice music; Good sound.
