Yes, we have become used to it. RCA releases a compilation, with a few new songs. OK, I'll admit that "My Happiness" is a historic recording. Maybe THE most important recording ever made. Even if it has a lot of noice and wierd sounds on it, it's the first record Elvis ever made. Just for this reason, you should buy it. As for the other songs, they are very good, but nothing special. To highlight some, Elvis does one of his best versions of "Unchained Melody" on this CD. Just to mention other great songs, "Fame And Fotune", "Return To Sender" and "Always On My Mind" are among the best. Buy it if you want the most historic recording ever, otherwise, skip it.
This is a Fantastic Cd of Elvis. If you want to hear Elvis form the very beginning of his career and i mean from the very beginning, then this is a must Cd. The very first track " My hapinness" is the very first song ever recorded by Elvis. This is the famed song Elvis recorded for his Mother Gladys. The song is rough because it was taken from the actual 45 record but the magical voice that was to change the world was already there. The rest of the Cd tracks are from the Sun years (1950's) through the 1960's to to some Movie Tracks to early 1970's. You can't go wrong with this CD.
Great cd. Playing right know. Been listening to Elvis for years. Nice to find hard to get cds. First albums were lps when I was a kid. Then had elvis on 8-track tapes in my 1980 mercury. Good performer and singer.

I love this man. I was one of those screaming, jumping, and crying fans in my teens. All his music cannot be rated other than the greatest of great. All fans love him. This is just one of his greatest CDs.
