Compré este platillo junto a un Sabian AAX 10'' Splash. Al ser de la serie HHX, esperaba un sonido "oscuro" pero cortante... no fue exactamente así, ya que al probarlo resultó tener un sonido más brillante que el de su contraparte AAX. Hacen una gran combinación, sin duda. El platillo por si solo vale la pena, posee buen ataque y definición. Lo único que me descuadró un poco es que no sea muy "oscuro" a pesar de su serie (lo cual no lo hace malo)... soy de usar platillos bastante cortantes (AAX Stage, AA Metal-X), así que encajó perfectamente en mi set. Recomendable 100%

I was looking for a higher end splash cymbal. Love the look of the hhx and the sound did not disappoint. Sounds exactly like what I wanted out of a splash cymbal. Quick response and great sound. I am mainly a Paiste guy, but this cymbal has definitely got me checking out Sabian more.
The HHX 10" splash sounds beautifully, I am in love with this splash, I highly recommend it to anyone.
