Product Information

The Epson projector is characterized by a full HD WUXGA resolution of 1920x1200 pixels, 4000 lumens of white brightness, and 4000 lumens of color brightness. This results in bright, clear images, even in ambient lighting conditions. The Epson G5450WU offers both wired and wireless networking options, ensuring that connectivity is within reach in a range of circumstances. In addition, this 3LCD projector allows for multi-screen projection. This means that, with the Epson projector, one can project two images from distinct input sources side by side, or a maximum of four images from different users on the network. The Epson G5450WU owes its brightness to a 275 watt UHE lamp, which offers a maximum of 2,000 hours of operation when used consistently in the normal mode. When the lamp is used consistently in the eco-mode, the 3LCD projector offers a maximum of 3,000 hours of operation. The Epson projector offers a range of interchangeable bayonet lens possibilities. They include rear projection, short-throw projection, and long-throw projection. They also include vertical and horizontal lens shift.

Premium performance, moderate cost
This is a very capable and bright projector. It has nearly all the features of the current models and is brighter than most of the similarly priced (entry level) projectors. I only use it two or three times a month and hope the bulb lives long enough to last another year or so. I definitely recommend buying these discontinued items rather than spending premium dollars for lesser performance.
