This is the best bible I've ever purchased, MacArthur has included thousands of very helpful notes that explain the exact verse you are studying. There are many other nice features of this study bible including the historical data, both secular and christian that precede each book. I really don't have any dislikes of this study bible version, I prefer the fact that there is a large print available because there is so much info in this edition that previous smaller print copies were difficult to focus on. I can tell a lot of editing and prep work were done to get this version out and I appreciate the hard work the editors did in order to finish this new version. I also prefer the indexed copy to get a quick scan of different chapters as well as the translation of the New American Standard. I've seen many versions of study bibles, but each one had some down side, this version has everthing I need and more.Read full review
Great Bible, very big, heavy, and expensive, the bible notes are very light and smaller print hard to read. I can't return it as I already opened the book. I called the publisher, and they said there is nothing they can do. Not a good book for older people who have trouble reading very light small print in the notes.

I bought this particular study bible based on the recommendation of my pastor. I also bought it because of the large print since it is getting difficult for me to see small print. It has been all I was looking for. I am not dissappointed.
