The construction of this plush dog is higher quality than most store offerings. The seams are tightly sewn and the filler used is firm. The colors are true to the picture and the breed, and the details (one ear being up and the other down as well as the eyes) are life-like. This toy should hold up to years of play for my grandchildren. I'd buy puppy-sized representations of this plush also if they were available to create even more play value. I was mildly disappointed in the quality of the nose material and the slightly off line color matching at seams. This is why I gave it 4 stars and not 5.

I thought maybe the stitching would be more hidden. but all in all, it definitely did the trick. every time I look at the little guy, I think it's my old little buddy. weird. we had to put him down months earlier and my son was devastated.
