Needed a larger saw for Alaskan mill & large tree felling & bucking. After much research decided on the 390xp as the best choice. Easy to handle, plenty of power, in board clutch, easy chain adjustment etc. Nothing better than Swedish orange.

This is excellent saw for bigger jobs, I got it to mill 36'' maple tree and I am using 32'' bar with 390XP. The saw is very smooth, powerful and quiet, starts very easy, it probably has the best power to weight ratio, which is 6.5 hp at 15.7 lb. I also have 346XP for smaller jobs, excellent combo!

I bought this saw to mill with and cut larger trees for firewood. My previous chainsaw in this size class was stolen and need enough power to mill boards. It is surprisingly lightweight for the size. I have run just a few tanks of gas through the saw so I can't speak to durability yet but it chews through wood like a big saw should and idles like a champ at -10 degrees F.
