I purchased the book because I was searching for a clever way to give a monetary gift. The book contains some simple, easy to complete items. The directions were clear and easy to follow, without becoming frustrating. I would suggest the book for the "beginner" to money folding.
Along with seven money folding projects, this book is filled with fun money facts and trivia. The money folding instructions are detailed, with illustrations for each step. You can make a ring, a frog, even a peacock! My family had a lot of fun making these little paper sculptures; they make giving and receiving gifts of money a little more interesting.
I purchased the book because I have long loved the art of Orgami..this led to folding money in unique ways to send to my five grandchildren for birthdays!! They love money...AND they love the folds..it keeps me learning new things which in turn keeps my mind as young ...
I especially like the Dime-In-Ring. I have made dime-in-rings for a number of people, and they all enjoy them. One even keeps it with her diamond rings.
Excellent book!! My son (age 11) took it on a long car trip to Tx., and he figured-out all of the cool buck-origami-folds along the way. It only cost his Grandpa about 12 one-dollar bills -- which were returned in cool shapes! Good fun!! My son even creates little "dollar-shaped shirts" to pay for pizza at school! The ladies who count the money get a kick out of that!!
