This banjo seems very good, though it seems to have some rust on the brackets and otherwise to have been well-used (but not bad for a 55 year old instrument). The eagle on the resonator was not to my knowledge ever original to Gibson--it appears to have been added after the original purchase. It's also possible that the resonator is non-original, but the plain close-grain wood seems to be maple and if so that's consistent with the style 100 of that time. The D-tuners were offered as a factory original modification, and though they look original I can't be sure about that. As quality banjos go these days, you could do a lot worse than an early 1960's RB-100.

An original RB-100 Banjo has only one adjustment rod within the wooden hoop, no tone ring, but a small round brace ring that lays atop the wooden hoop. This makes for a very light weight, but great sounding instrument!
