Only Bear Bow in over 50 years to have a limb break. Contacted Bear Archery and no replacement limb is available. So I was forced to look for another deal and found this one. I bought the bow for my granddaughters. They have a lesser draw weight at present and would graduate into this one. I changed the cam to increase the draw length and that may have been in part why the limb broke, It appears to be a molded plastic! I would think the limbs should have a built in tolerance of at least double what stress is typically put on them, but this does not appear to be so. I still like BEAR and always have. I have 4 Bear bows of my own, 2 compound, one of which is fairly new. Not sure how the DL is supposed to be adjusted, but the max as is is about 19 inches. I find many of these youth bows do not have a long enough DL for the DW. If you try to let off the DW the cables are very floppy and the bow does not shoot well at all! This is not true of my Bear bows which shoot quite well at the lesser DW.Read full review

Nice kids bow. It uses a 41" string. It is well made and easy to adjust. I wish the makers would put specs on the bows permanently. Lose the whisker biscuit as soon as soon as possible if you seek accuracy.
