Unboxed it, put on scope and stirrup, ready to go. Zeroed in scope with 2 shots. STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you shoot at a different target with each shot unless you have money to spend on arrows that have hit the previous arrow. I fired 3 shots and each was within a 1/4 inch of dead center. Great balance in design allows you to more easily put the sight on target and then hold it while you squeeze the trigger. Speaking of triggers, it has a 3-5 lb adjustable trigger. Why you would set it above 3 lbs is beyond me; this setting makes firing easier and keeps you on target. When resting it on a crossbow holder, the full weight of the crossbow sits on the string instead of the limbs - a quick call to Bear Archery confirmed that this situation is not damaging to the string as long as the string is sitting on padded arms. I think one of the most remarkable features is that even though it's a couple pounds heavier than my other high end traditional crossbows, the balance is such that I don't notice the difference and it actually feels lighter when I'm aiming. All things considered, I would recommend this crossbow and I suggest that you purchase and install the string stoppers that are sold for them. Once you put on string stoppers there is virtually zero recoil.Read full review

bad barrel design. the riser mounting area is not strong enough and the up pressure on the timing cables makes the barrel bend right in front of the riser .the trigger has 1/2 inch of creep the scope is very cheap and the arrows don't all weigh the same it is heavy .2 good things it is quiet and it draws real easy .

The Bear Fisix is as good as any Xbow twice its price. IBO says 375... With a 595 grain hunting set up, I chrono’ed it at 348. Thats smokin. My compound bow is the fastest on the market (370 fps) and it shoots 320 fps with my hunting set up. The Bear is actually quiet for a crossbow right out of the box. I would attribute this to the weight, which is a little heavier than some crossbows, but it is very well balanced. The trophy ridge speedcomp scope is incredible. Sighted in at 20 and then 40... drilling tacks all the way out to 100 yrds, no joke. The illuminated reticle is nice, and instead of guessing which yardage your scope “mils” are, the yardage is clearly listed in the reticle itself. I actually had to go buy a new block target because my old target (2 yrs old) was getting pass throughs from this beast at 30 yards. This crossbow is incredible and I’m really impressed (and I’m a compound snob!!). Robinhooded my last shot after sighting in at 70 yards with no rest. Ridiculous!! I said I would NEVER buy a crossbow because its cheating... but I guess if you’re gonna cheat, this is a great xbow to cheat with haha.Read full review

My crossbow was a gift from my wife and have only had time to set it up and shoot a test shot. Was very quiet and pretty accurate for for an initial shot. Used a new regular bow target for the shot and the arrow buried past the fletching. Have since gotten a target specifically for the crossbow but have yet to try it. Crossbow is super fast and quiet and trigger pull was in my judgement very good. Crossbow is a little heavy but not a complaint for me probably what makes it as quiet as it is. Can't wait to shoot it some more and get it in the field. Oh, and the scope seems to be more than adequate for the distances that I will be using this for. Thanks!

The scope had to be turned way way out to focus. but after it was set up it was money! with heavy grain tip and 110 grain brass inserts on bolts to make total of 435 grain bolt, It is shooting a 1.5 inch group at 50 yards!! the lines on scope are dead on accurate for 20 30 40 and 50 yard shot. I was extremely impressed. I have shot much more expensive XBOWS many times and this thing is highly impressive!! Especially for the price I paid at $329.00 it is deadly and shoots like a $1,000 crossbow . Cant say enough.. With heavy bolts it will penetrate!!!!! no need for the fisix ... the Bruzer is a killing machine
