This bow seems to be satisfactory for younger kids. My granddaughter just turned 7 she can draw the bow but has to work at it, for the price its a good way to teach techniques and safety.

This is a great kit for a new archer. I bought it for my seven year old daughter. I will say that you need to refletch the arrows with feathers (the plastic vanes are no good) but otherwise it's a very competent little bow. I did an awful lot of research and found nothing better for kids in the 7-10 age range.
It was exactly the right product for the price! My son loved it on Christmas morning. It seems sturdy enough to last him a while. It only comes with two arrows which is unfortunate, but for the price you are paying you can buy some spare arrows with the cash you save.
