I bought this phone for my mom, she's had it for 1 yr & its a good phone. Its taken a lot of abuse, drops on the floor keeps working.Simple to program. The problems are volume doesn't get very loud when talking on the phone. This was a problem fairly early on.I have an LG Volt which is a similar phoneno issue with the volume. The Realm is a pretty good phone nevertheless. It holds a long charge.Great value.I would recommend it to others.

This phone isn't great; it's cheap. If your budget is low or you drop/lose/drown/break phones then this is a good choice. It's not terrible unless you're spoiled by higher-priced models. It works great on Ringplus with their free and paid plans, in addition to its native MVNO Boost Mobile. Battery life is ok, not great, not terrible. You can buy a broken LS620 on eBay for a scant few bucks to get a spare battery (or just buy batteries of course, but then you still need a phone to use as a charger). It's quick and easy to pop in a new battery. Internal storage is a bit anemic, but if you root it then you can clean up a bunch of bloat, move a few dependable favorite apps to the /system partition, use link2sd to move other apps to an ext3fs on the SD card, etc. The screen could stand to be brighter, but you don't need to use a screen protector. The Gorilla Glass that it has is decent. If you crack it, cheap replacements are here on eBay. Its Android 4.4 OS isn't too obsolete yet. I haven't found any apps that refuse to run on it.Read full review

I Love this phone. I would not go back to my old phone which was not a smart phone. The internet speed is fast, 3g. Also, the functionality of the phone is amazing. It is fast using all applications. The brightness of the phone is good, the special effects are good. You have a cool operating system with more than one desktop so to speak, you can swipe through them with cool effects. I don't have any trouble with loading anything, its quite fast. The screen is large and has a very crisp picture. Be sure to use google chrome that comes with the phone because it gives you a wider picture while using the internet. Also, when using texting this phone has an amazing voice recognition feature that types exactly what your saying, it works pretty well, no complaints about that and really speeds things up. That feature doesn't work very well if there are a lot of background noises like loud music. That feature has no problem working in the mall or around other people though. txting and chatting over the phone works well and so does the speaker phone, I never have trouble hearing anyone. Furthermore, whats amazing is that voicemails will appear in a txt version using the phone so you don't have to login and listen if you don't want to. Its mostly accurate with a few mistakes usually, but you get the idea who the message is from and you still have the option to listen to the message right then and there like a music file would play if you want to. In addition, the camera takes instant pics, it does record video. Its very nice. If you can't decide this phone over another one, pick this phone! I almost chose a more expensive 4g that is quad core, and I chose this instead and I'm very happy with it, I wouldn't change right now because it does everything I wanted it to do and more. Btw, I spent a TON of time trying to decide which phone to get, this was my first smart phone and I had to write about it.Read full review
I bought my first LG realm over 2 years ago & had to replace it with the updated discontinued model. This phone is so easy to use & is the perfect in between size for what I use it for. I'm sad it has been discontinued but I'll deal with that issue in another 2 years when this one needs replacement.
