First use was about a 12 foot putt and with this club I nailed it. The two ball putter helps alignment to the hole better. Club is lightweight and easy to stroke. It's just a great design for the everyday golfer or the high handicapper.

I had tried a belly putter at the end of last year with moderate success, but I am always trying to get better. I have it in my head that is is the putter which will make me better. The quality of the club was not the greatest, I felt a bit mislead, until I went back and read the listing. They were a honest about its description, in my anxiousness to find what I was looking for I 'got what I paid for minus a bit'. I have dealt with these people before and always found them top notch, and would recommend them highly as a place to look for a specific club. By the time the putter came I had reserected an old traditional style and was putting very well with it. So I turned around and listed it as a Best Bid and sold it for about half of what I paid for it. I have since bought a Scotty Cameron belly putter, 37". It takes some getting used to. I am thinking of having it cut down and regripped, as it has the long grip. Haven't made up my mind about that as yet. As a product the two-ball putter by Odyessy leads the league in sales by quite a margin. The set-up provides you with proper alignment and your ball on target very easily. It is good, it is very good but you have to decide that for yourself. I believe for anybody that has trouble with meaningful 5 and 6 footers, this putter is a must. The belly style is just one of personal preferance, it is the design of the head that makes this club so widely accepted by pro and weekend players. Harrington won the British Open with the 2-ball blade model which I suspect would be the design of choice on the fast greens he plays on. I hope this helps somebody . I've always tended toward small, light, blade-type putters, but have recently picked up a few heavier, mallet-types, just give them a try. I have to admit that they do have their good points. Take the Odyssey White Hot 2-Ball putter, for example. It's a very impressive looking putter, with its large head and the two white golf ball sized inserts. It looks like a lot of thought went into creating this club. It feels substantial in your hands, well-balanced and solid. The two ball shaped inserts really do help you see and visualize the alignment of your ball with the hole ad the weight and balance of the head give you the feeling of a pendulum swinging through the ball and you can almost feel the transfer of energy from the swinging club to the rolling golf ball as you send it on its way to the hole. I gave it a rating of 4, which should really be at least 4 and a half. I'm reserving a 5 rating for that mythical putter I'm still loking for that will sink every putt.Read full review
I purchased this putter to improve my ability to line up the club face. I liked this model because, in addition to the two balls, it had two side rails that I thought would create more of a "slot" in which to stroke the ball. Although this does help, I still find myself mostly using the 2-ball alignment structure and the face for final stroke path. What I was not counting on, was that the "rails" made this model heavier than a standard two ball putter. Trying this putter in the shop on astroturf (very fast) did not prepare me for use on slower greens. Although I have had to slow down my putter stroke slightly to control the putter head, I think this club still performs very well and am very happy with it. My only caution would be the obvious and to make sure you take the putter to an actual green for a sufficient period of time to evaluate it completely.Read full review
The 2-Ball putter I received had a horrible re-shafting job done, but once I took that out and properly installed a new one, it has been quite good to me. The head design leads to easy alignment and has a nice weight to it. If the weight is not to your liking, there is plenty of room in the void in the middle of the club to add some lead tape. I noticed I am not as accurate with with this mallet type putter on very long putts, but inside 15 ft, this 2-Ball putter has improved my putting over the blade style putts by quite a bit.
