  • Good reference. Worth having

I'm presently restoring a '66 Bonneville and this book is a great help. My only gripe is that the description said that there was a section on wheel lacing and that was what made me pull the trigger. However that was a let down. There was very little on wheel lacing and it really wasn't any help. What is great about this author's books are the photos. Lots of them, in color and I'm somebody that needs pictures. This is my first complete restoration and my first British bike and even though I have the shop manual and the parts manual this is a great addition and I can recommend it.

  • # of pictures make it a good add on

Not the penultimate restoration guide but I do not believe one exists. Lots of good information, makes me wish I lived closer to the authors. Seem like extremely knowledgeable, experienced Limey riders. I wish someone with their background would document that knowledge for the rest of us that enjoy their passion but have limited time to pursue it.

  • Novice level or visual learning should be in title

Picture book fluff, no real data or useable tips or directions.

  • Recommend any triumph owner to get this book just to understand the bike.

Fantastic book. Shows you how to actually go through the bike. Photos are very well done & show important things. Really mostly about the '69 Bonnie. Info on the 63 is less, but helpful. This book combined with a genuine shop manual is the way to go. This book fills in the gaps the manual leaves you wondering about. Even if you never go through your bike, the book is interesting read & will give you valuable insight into how the bike works & is put together. I highly recommend this book to anyone that owns a Triumph twin.

  • Triumph Motorcycle Restoration

Excellent book. A must have for the vintage, veteran late pre unit and unit twin Triumph enthusiast. Year to year color photos from '59 to '70 with desciptions and differences for the american market with some mention of the U.K. market also.
