People seem to get a new bow every year for that extra 2-3% of advantage over last years model. I think that’s dumb. Take for instance the carbon matrix. I had an experienced archer I know shoot it against a redwrx and the difference was marginal at best. And it cost me 15% of what a new bow would cost. It’s increasingly light, and will work with all your modern accessories. These bows are incredibly tough, and have never been a better value. If you’re just getting started or are looking for a backup rig, you can’t go wrong with a carbon matrix.

I have a Carbon Element as well as the Carbon Matrix Plus and I really don't think there is anything smoother, quieter, more accurate and smoother to pull than these. With that said whenever I head out to the 3D course I always seem to grab the Matrix Plus. It's just a little bit smoother to pull and a little bit easier to hold on target. Both of these as well as my CRX are outfitted with exactly the same rest (Code Red), the same sight (HHA single pin with 4X lens) and same stabilizer (Smooth Stability SRL) so I'm guessing the extra 3 inches must be the reason. They are worth every penny.
Great bow for anyone from beginner level to experienced. In my opinion this is a very versatile bow that is easy to shoot and great for hunting, target shooting or just learning the sport. Can't go wrong with a Carbon matrix!

This bow is absolutely the lightest compound I've ever shot. Very comfortable feel and it shoots great. I've owned and shot 3 Hoyt bows prior to this one, a BowTech, a Mathews, several PSE, and a few Bear/Jennings bows. So far this one is my favorite. I decided to buy it because of the research I have been conducting the last 6 months. It is everything the reviews say and lives up to its hype. Great bow from a great, reputable company!
I have had several bows over the last 30 years and this bow is just plain awsome. I bought the bow with 14 arrows and I now have 5 of the orig left because I robinhooded the rest. I shoot carprnter bees out of the air at 15 yds. The bow is smooth and fast and accurate, Combine this with it's light weight and you have the perfect bow. Expensive ,YES but you get what you pay for. J.Michael
