I wanted a larger food processor and so far this has worked out well. There is a food trap behind the handle that takes some special attention to cleaning, just the same. It seems to have enough power to handle what I have thrown at it. It is lighter than I expected so easy to move around.

There is a place on the side that has a spring in it, and the spring is already starting to rust! Also, it throws food up under the edge and you have to scrape it out and off the sides.

It's compact. It fits under my upper cabinets when not in use. It works very well. My only desire is that it sliced thinner slices. The slice is reasonably thick. I intend to continue using it and will see if I can achieve a thinner slice.

Really like this piece of equipment. I had to buy a replacement for a really old Cuisinart, and I am so thoroughly pleased with this item's performance. It is loud, but no louder than my old Cuisinart--maybe people are complaining because there is a "highness" of the pitch of the sound, similar of an airplane engine in tone, but it doesn't bother me. I researched performance and satisfaction among many other brands and models, and this one was an economically sound performer. No reason to spend more for great performance! Glad I went with the larger size, as some recipes can completely be made in this one container, and that saves TIME and CLEANING yet another bowl!
