I had an older version of this popcorn popper and it was great. Obviously they changed the popper and they should have left it alone. The popcorn doesn't easily pop out of the popper, and there are lots of un-popped or under-popped kernels. I will be looking for a different popper.

This has the air blowing up rather than from sides. You can roast coffee beans in it but since the top doesn't stay together it's a mess. I tried sorghum and it doesn't pop it very well. I have t tried popcorn ... but top is melted and gets super hot. Supposedly the old model does better if your looking for this to roast your coffee beans. Don't get this model
