Part arrived quickly. The photos in the ad are not super helpful. This is a thick piece of metal with a routered circular channel that receives the male ball flange end of the exhaust manifold. I used this without a gasket, worked great. Fit my 1970 oldsmobile delta 88 445ci motor. I used it to replace the existing cap-off on the cross-over pipe replacement, my car has true dual exhaust and doesn't need the second outlet on the passenger side exhaust manifold.
