    best fillet knives in town

    If you do your homework, you can buy good knives for a very good price Elk Ridge makes these knives out of AISI 440 - this is the steel used for scalpels and other surgical instruments. Their heat treatment is superb. These knives hold their edge for a long time, and they are fairly easy to re-sharpen. I bought the first one for myself. I've already bought another 8 of them - for my son, for my sons-in-law, and for all my nephews. This is a very good knife.

    Very stiff blade , and not high quality steel. Old adage is true - you get what you pay for. Definitely not close to my R —-la fillet knife

    🔪 Recommended. Good value and quality for the price.

    Knife for the price of around 10USD is great value and quality. Very sharp and great for filleting anything, meats like fish and beef, fruits and so on. ❌ Two cons: area where blade meets handle goes into 90° angles instead like other knives usually have a curve, hence that corner is higher chance for dirt to remain even after washing. Use bristle-brush for proper clean. Handle needs filler in gaps along blade-handle as sealant. Cheers.

    Almost too pretty to use

    I have not used it to clean a fish yet. It is almost to good looking to use. It feels very solid with good balance and seems very well made. I can't believe I bought it for under $10. What a bargain. I also have an Elk Ridge knife combo...skinning knife and a flip blade folding knife. I have used both of them and they are very sturdy and functional. Both well made and very good looking. I look forward to hunting so I have an excuse to wear them on my belt.

    Affordable and QUALITY

    The knife is made of a quality steel. It was very easy the finely sharpen. Some knives I have had to work at to sharpen . But this knife honed quick. I haven’t used it a full season yet but I believe it will not disappoint me. I wanted a stiffer blade than the common fillet knives and this one had flexibility with the right amount of stiffness. I would recommend this knife for smaller or large fish. It handled very comfortably.
