I originally purchased this system as a replacement for my trusty Yamaha surround system, which I had for over 7 years. I wanted something that had WiFi capabilities so I could connect to NetFlix and Bluetooth so I could connect to my IPhone and IPod wirelessly. This product received overall good reviews so after months of researching I made the purchase. The first week I had the system it connected to my Motorola Surfboard SBG6782-AC Gateway router/modem with ease. After that week everything went downhill. The system would not connect to my router/modem anymore, and the sound was out of sync often with my TV. The system would freeze constantly when I tried to connect wirelessly to the router/modem. I would spend hours trying to reboot the system attempting to connect to the WiFi and get the sound in sync with the TV. I almost gave up and put the system on the curb for garbage pick-up. But in a last attempt to make use of the system I moved it upstairs, from my living room, downstairs to my office where the router/modem is located and it still would not connect wirelessly. So, I had to setup a wired connection in my office to get NetFlix. It’s the strangest thing since all my other wireless electronics connect to the router/modem wirelessly with no problem. My 3 other LG DVD players also connect to the router/modem wirelessly with no problem. After wire connecting the system it worked much better and didn’t freeze every 10-15 minutes when trying to connect wirelessly. Unfortunately, I can’t use it wired in my living room since I don’t have a wired connection in their. So, I had to spend more money to get a pre-owned Yamaha surround sound system for my living room.Read full review
After buying my new 70" UHD LG TV I was looking for a surround system to replace my Good Ol' Samsung unit. I wanted a 1000 watts, Blu-ray, and Smart features. Also I wanted it to pair up with the LG TV. Even though this is a "Discontinued" product from LG, I managed to find one on E-Bay still "New in Box" but opened. It works quite well with the TV and since the newer "Low end" units from LG don't have the punch of a 1000w system it fits my needs nicely. The only drawback is it does not have any HDMI inputs for my game system, but the TV has plenty so it really wasn't a concern. Overall a decent system for the price and features.

Good system for the price. Linked with LG tv using optical cable. system turns on with tv much better sound then stock. I would recommend for low cost upgrade. Did not like that speaker wires are not removable from speaker they are attached.

Good entry level system. I give the LG Electronics BH6730S Home Theater System 5 out of 5 stars for doing exactly what it says it does, and not because it is the best home theater system available. It is what it is, and it's excellent as a low-end, entry level system. The sound is pretty good. It's a little tinny and muddy but decent for these speakers and this price.
For a refurbished system it worked well. My only complaint was that the dvd front door would not close automatically when a dvd was inserted.
