Bought this bow to replace a Hoyt that I had been using for a number of years. During the looking process my father purchased a PSE Vendetta. I don't have that kind of scratch, but I really liked the feel of the bow and the general design. I looked at a number of options in the PSE main line and really liked the Madness and then found a new previous year model (2011) on ebay that I could afford. This bow is an excellent and forgiving shooting platform and I love the smoothness of the single cam design. It's also a rocket launcher even with my 26" draw. The bow comes with a number of noise dampening features built in which make it incredibly effective in the field, straight out of the box. Bow season opened on October first in New York this year and I took a buck on the 7th, my second time in the field with the bow. Not the biggest deer I've taken, but among the most memorable and I sustenance hunt so having confidence in my equipment is essential. I would buy this bow again and again, a great investment and I've found that among bows they hold their value fairly well. Only one negative worth mentioning and it's exactly what you're likely to find in other reviews, the strings are not up to par with the rest of the bow and with the string twist you will probably require a peep sight with a rectifying tube. Not a big deal, but I don't give them two years of use and then will be changing out for Vapor Trails. If you choose to purchase one of these, do yourself a favor and put a drop away on it, this is an incredibly accurate bow and shot placement shouldn't come down to a final variable that can't be controlled by the shooter (i.e. whisker biscuit). Over all I am very happy with this purchase and will be buying PSE for a long time to come.Read full review
I have shot many bows from all the major brands. This PSE Bow Madness 30 is top of the line. I understand you can spend more than $1,000 for some of the Pro Series bows, but I don't see the need. This bow is quiet, super accurate, smooth draw with a good valley, dead in the hand, and almost vibration free. With the axle to axle at below 30" it becomes as fantastic treestand or blind bow for hunting. Highly suggest this bow!!!!

As a beginner I'm not too savvy on high end archery equipment but this bow is kick a$$!!! It has a smooth draw back and is easily held back as I aim. This bow is light and has a solid feel to it. When I bought it there were already nice accessories on it but I have sealed them out for better ones. I am very pleased with this bow and would definately recommend it.

I bought the P.S.E. Bow Madness as a duplicate back up bow to my original P.S.E. Bow Madness. For the money invested, I know that I have the very best hunting bows on the market. I have harvested two Elk, two Mule deer, and a beutiful buck Antelope with my Bow Madness, in the last two hunting seasons. As an archer / hunter, I depend on my equipment to help me be successful. P.S.E. Bow Madness has never let me down.
I have a 2012 PSE Brute X and I’m amazed at how much smoother the Epix draw is (at the the same weight). It’s also very quiet. It’s remarkable how much PSE has improved in five years.
