Pros: The Reezen will become a classic if it already isn't one. It's fast and accurate with little or no hand shock. With Mathews 2011 lineup priced out of sight, a used Reezen is an even better value than before. Great value compared to the new Z7 speed bows. Cons: Not the smoothest draw cycle out there compared to the competition. Draw length changes require a bow press and a whole new cam. It can ad anywhere from $75.00 to $125.00 depending on if you take it to a dealer or can do it yourself.
I bought this bow because I have been shooting a bow that was getting elderly just like me. It was not very forgiving and the draw weight was excessive. Several of my friends have Mathews bows and liked them. I have also shot them and liked the bow and some of the accessories attached to the bow. Purchasing this bow allowed me to upgrade all at the same time. It is easy to shoot, very forgiving, much quieter and lighter. I look forward to hunting in Utah for mule deer this august.
I bought a reezen for speed and easy shooting. I wanted a newer bow for hunting that had decent speed. It feels good,Looks good,Easy to draw,Fast and accurate. This is my fourth bow and by far the best with my Mission a close second. I would reccomend a Mathews to anyone,I have improved my shooting with my Reezen and maybe you can too.
The Reezen has been billed as a very fast and smooth bow. I have owned my current Mathews Icon for nearly 5 years and wanted to see for myself if the claims were true. So far I have to say, yes! Knowing that I wanted a 40-50 pound draw I figured E-Bay was the place to find one.
Bow is smooth, does not jump in hand when shot. Easy to tune and quiet. additionally it shoots fast. SOn shot just a few times; is able to group well out to 40 yards. He does not normally shot a bow.
