The picture shown was a bronze type color for the base & cap. I placed my order based on that. What came to me is has a silver base & cap. Which I was ready to over look that & use it anyway. Then i noticed a pencil eraser size dent in the base. I decided to scap the new one to refurbish my old one.

I don't know if the lamp was packed properly or not, it didn't look damaged, but the blue liquid was a bit cloudy and it has never cleared up. Also, the flow of the wax is slow. These are Chinese-made lava lamps and don't have the same quality the the U.S. made Lava Lites do. You don't pay much for these, and that's what you get.

I got a good one….lots of blobs all sizes lots of activity…I had an original that wasn't quite as good…I seem to remember back then that there was no telling until you tried it they were a bit different acting…don't know if these are exactly the same?…but this to my memory is just like the one I had so many years ago…have blue now….red-orange back then

i got my lava lamp a few days ago, but the wax is stuck at the bottom and it won't flow, no bubbles just the wax sitting at the bottom, it would seem as if the wax at the bottom will finally start flowing but it doesn't just the mound sitting at the bottom, no cool bubbles, it really sucks
